ABOUT
The concept for Kumah was conceived in 2019 by a couple of Los Angeles natives during a trip to Tokyo, Japan. Inspired by the eccentricity and attention to detail that permeated the Harajuku shops they visited, the founders returned to Los Angeles with the goal of solving the problems they had with their own wardrobes. They wanted to create a fashion line that emphasized unique, creative prints, quality detailing, but at a price-point that is affordable. In October, 2020 Kumah was born. The name Kumah is derived from ‘Kuma’, which in Japanese means ‘Bear’.
